Current Engineering Projects

Greetings from the bowels of the ship!

As you all know, during our space trials it was discovered that the Antimatter drive did not work.

I have since been re-working and converting our main drive to a fusion torch drive. I'm getting the archive data from fusion drive trials from the past 10 years. Its a lot a data to sift through, but I'm almost done. I should have my report and engineering recommandations compleated with in the week.

I also need to speak with Capt Gregson and UNSN command about scrapping our SP-200 power units and converting to smaller more compact and powerful Fusion reactor power generation units.

With the SP-200 units they each generated 2 MWe of electrical energy. With the fusion reactor units we can get in the order of 100-200 MWe of electrical energy ,If I did the math right. We might keep one SP-200 unit in-standby mode for emergency back-up power. It depends on how much room I have left in engineering once the main fusion drive is installed and running.

That is all for now. I'm going to take a shower and get back to bed. But as they say, I'll get enough sleep when I die.

Signing off.
